QDesigner comes with plenty of features - you will find a
short description about most of them in the following paragraphs.
Barcharts
QDesigner supports the use of barcharts that display
collected data in a meaningful way. Barcharts can even be used as an instant
feedback for your interviewee or can be reserved for later analysis, where you
can view them side by side for comparison.
Instant feedback
Instant feedback can be shown to the interviewee based on his answers, which
allows the display of intermediate or end results.
Formula evaluation
QDesigner supports the evaluation of default and custom
variables. Using the integrated and easy to use formula editor, you can create
formulas ranging from simple sums to formulas of high complexity.For further
computation, QDesigner supports export to SPSS (.sav) and Microsoft Excel
(.csv).
Integrated Analysis
Collected data can be analysed directly in Qdesigner.
Even a graphical direct comparison is possible.
Export
Collected data can be exported into all common format.
Supported formats include: Excel, SPSS, SQL-Server and Csv. The SPSS-Export
supports SPSS specific functions like value labels, variable labels and missing
values. This way, cumbersome editing of the exported data is kept at a minimum.
You can export specific date ranges directly and start with the analysis without
additional preparation of the data.
Data import
Increase your data by importing already collected data
into QDesigner, which will be taken into account when evaluation statistics.
Filling out
Questionnaire online & offline
Filling out questionnaires online is possible by using
the QDesigner Server. QDesigner supports Datevariables that collect the time it
took the interviewee to answer the questions, which helps you keep carelessly
answered questionnaires at a minimum.

Questionnaire Lists
A Questionnairetemplate is a questionnaire that is not
yet filled out and handed to a interviewee, most of the time simply referred to
as a questionnaire. These questionnaires can be used alone or combined in a
list. In QDesigner, you can create Questionnairelists that contain as few or as
many questionnaires as you like. It's now possible to give this
questionnairelist to an interviewee, instead of handing him those questionnaires
separately. This function is also useful for anonymization of questionnaires.

Page layout
QDesigner supports Page layouts, which allow to customize
your questionnaires to your needs. For instance you can modify a page layout to
include a company logo on each and every page, without editing all of them.
WYSIWYG (="What
You See Is What
You Get") Editor
The WYSIWYG-Editor makes sure that questions get
displayed exactly the way you designed them. Combined with the clear visual user
interface and a intuitive and easy handling, one can design questionnaires not
only fast, but without the hassle of studying the manual first.
Fullscreen Mode
With just one push of a button, you can change into
fullscreen mode, which enables even users with small screens to accommodate all
relevant info. You can leave fullscreen mode with just another push of a button.
The fullscreen mode is also well suited for filling out so that the interviewee
is fully focused on the questions.
Filling out by Keyboard
The questionnaire can be filled out fast and conveniently
by keyboard without the usage of a mouse, which in turn speeds up the process of
entering data from hardcopy or while talking on the phone.
